(From GROWMARK release) – Dr. Rick Ringer, associate professor, Illinois State University College of Business, was honored with the “Friend of GROWMARK” award at the GROWMARK annual meeting in Chicago.
Through his support and coordination of programs including the GROWMARK Leadership Education and Development (LEAD) program, Advanced Director Certification program, and Supply Chain Management program, Ringer promotes the positive culture and professionalism of the GROWMARK System.
In his nomination, Ringer was called a “terrific partner in the development of the future leadership of the GROWMARK System.”
The Friend of GROWMARK award was established in 1989 to recognize outstanding leadership and commitment to agriculture, and friendship to the GROWMARK System. Since its inception, more than 25 individuals and organizations have been honored.
